Get Connected : Small Groups

Four new small groups begins this Fall at different locations and different times for your convenience. Consider joining one of these small groups to learn some real life parenting skills based on God's principles or grow more deeper in your understanding of our Christian faith.

	Growing Kids God's Way Sam & Terri Wang serve as facilitators of this parenting skills small group. They use a value-based DVD curriculum emphasizing the way of the Lord in reaching the hearts of children with virtues and values that flow from the character of God and doing it without stressing the child or the parents. They meet at the offices of the Physicians at Sugar Creek (14023 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, 77478) Friday evenings (see schedule) from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. 	Christianity Explored Keith & Cherie Cowan serve as facilitators of this faith-building small group designed to help anyone who wants to investigate Christianity informally with a group of other people. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians, and the Bible, or none at all, this small group is for you. Everyone is welcome - from the most sympathetic Sunday school attender to the convinced athiest. They meet at their home on Friday evenings (see schedule) from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. 	Boundaries with Teens Tom & Peggy Erdos serve as facilitators of this parenting sklls small group that emphasizes developing strong, healthy boundaries with your teen. It also includes a section on how to deal with special situations like drugs, alcohol, cutting classes, sex, defiance, school, and disrespect. They meet Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the home of pastor Ed & Alice Lee  (See schedule) locaed in Missouri City. 	The Road to Armaggedon and Beyond James & Linda DeClouette serve as facilitators of this small group designed to help Christians understand Biblical prophecy. Topics range from the rapture, who is the anti-Christ, or what exactly is the Second Coming and what we should be looking for. This Dallas Seminary DVD series is a must see for every committed Christian. They meet every Wednesday evening (See schedule) from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at their home.
