Mentorship
At the Mosaic Learning Center, all staff members teach by word and by example. We understand that dedicated effort is as important as actual accomplishment. Our tutors look for the best intellectual, physical and emotional qualities in each child and encourage each child to develop his or her personal strengths. The MLC tutors are:
- students who maintain outstanding grade point averages as well as active involvement in varied school and community activities.
- adults who can call upon their years of practical experience in the workplace and in the community.
The MLC hires tutors from a wide range of age groups, education and work experience, and racial and ethnic backgrounds. What the MLC tutors all have in common is good moral character, an upbeat attitude toward life, and firm faith values.
